Hi all! We are so excited to welcome everyone to Venice in a few weeks and to kick off what will be such a fun weekend!
We've gotten a few questions about required COVID forms, so we wanted to provide some quick information on Italy's requirements. For Italy, you will only need two forms.
First, you will need to fill out a Passenger Locator Form. You can find the link here: https://euplf.eu/en/home/index.html.
Second, you will need your CDC vaccination card. For Americans, the CDC vaccination card will operate like the Italian "Green Pass" and will allow you to partake in indoor activities. Please note that, until/unless Italy devises a system for Americans to obtain a Green Pass QR code, you should carry your CDC vaccination card on you. Some additional detail from the US Embassy is provided below:
Effective August 6, 2021, the “Digital Green Certificate/Green Pass” will be necessary to access some locations and participate in certain social activities such as: indoor seated dining at restaurants and bars, museums, exhibitions, cultural sites, sporting events, swimming pools, gyms, concerts, fairs, conferences, amusement parks and other venues. The Italian Ministry of Health issued an ordinance on July 29, 2021 stating that an Anti-COVID-19 vaccination certificate for an European Medicines Agency (EMA) recognized vaccine from competent U.S. health authorities (CDC “white cards”) will be considered the equivalent of the Italian Green Pass where this requirement exists.
If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to reach out! We cannot wait to see you all and celebrate together soon!
